Well, from the looks of things, it appears that there is a 'buy, sell or trade' shop being readied, and talk of a small convenience store right next to it. Anyone have more info?

Yes, it's in the former Maggies Nail Salon/Hair Station. I guess it could be considered a pawn shop. I think the convenience store would be nice for bread, milk, snacks instead of always having to go to Newport or T-town.

Maria YohnMillerstown Pennsylvania
Hey everyone, The Juniata Sentinel is doing a special issue that will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Hurricane Agnes. We're looking for people from Millerstown(or people who lived there at the time)who would like to share memories of the flood. We're also looking for flood pictures. Thanks!

The small convenience store has opened in the former Hair Station. They have daylight and early evening hours at present, and hope to expand on that as the need arises. There is a useful inventory of items such as bread and rolls, milk, ice cream and frozen treats, sodas and other beverages, a selection of snacks and groceries, as well as some personal care products, all of which will grow as demand and interest are determined. They have indicated that they will order other items if requested. Hope the townsfolk support it. We needed something like this.
