 I had adopted (so to speak) a 3 legged cat we named tripod. We have fed and watered him and given him shelter on our back porch and put flee and tick medicine on him for about a year and a half. He got tame enough that you could pet him while he ate. Most mornings he greeted us sitting on his mat or in his house waiting for his breakfast and usually ate at our house on average twice a day. I heard some sounds like cats fighting down in the woods near the water tower about a week ago. I haven't seen him since. we looked in the woods for signs with no luck. If anyone sees him around town, let me know. we think that other people in town may also feed him - he never looked kike he was starving.
