Millerstown looks to be and it sounds like it is a delightful place. I recently discovered that Cameron Mitchell, the actor, spent a significant number of years in Millerstown. Some time ago I spent time in Harrisburg. The next time I visit the USA I will endeavour to make my way to Millerstown. As an Australian I am very aware of how important America was to Australia, and to the rest of the world, especially during WWII. General Douglas Macarthur made his headquarters in Brisbane Australia during this time and it was from Brisbane that he planned his return to the Philippines. God Bless America.

Cameron Mitchell, formerly from Millerstwown, played the lead role of the famous welterweight champion boxer Barney Ross. Barney Ross was injured during world War II and, because of his injuries became addicted to morphine. He wrote about this in his autobiography "A Monkey on my back", which starred Cameron Mitchell, in the movie of the same name. In the recently released Expandable movies, Slyvester Stallone pays homage to Barney Ross by adopting the name "Barney Ross" as his character. Maybe Millerstown should consider recognizing Cameron Mitchell as part of its town's history which has the following connections Cameron Mitchell - movie star - played Barney Ross, world boxing champion - and the name Barney Ross was used by Slyvester Stallone in the Expandables.
