** ATTENTION **
There is a Boil Water Advisory on Monday July 29th from 6 am -4 pm.
Advisory may last for several days.
This will only affect the residences that actually RECEIVED a flyer notice.
This is for High, Sunbury & S. Market Streets due to the current road work
Residents will be notified the same manner, by flyer, when the advisory is lifted.

The boil water advisory continues until you are notified otherwise. As stated, you will be notified by a flyer - hand delivered to your residence. Both the website and the sign in the square will also be updated as soon as the 'all clear' is received. The advisory for High Street MAY be lifted very soon, but Sunbury and South Market Street remain under the decree. Do keep in mind that this is a state Penn Dot project in which the Borough is only assisting to a degree. Yes, it is inconvenient, but the repairs are long overdue and the end result will benefit everyone; both residents and those who are just passing through.

I understand the notification process and I appreciate this is a short term inconvenience for a long term benefit - although, worth noting, not an inconvenience borne by the entire town, only the residents on three streets. I was merely asking if anyone could estimate how much longer we will be inconvenienced. This began with a one day advisory with the POSSIBILITY of extra days - we are now into day FOUR with no end in sight - with the exception of the residents on High Street. It's a bit easier to bear an inconvenience if we could have an estimated end date. I mean, are we talking another couple of days? A week? Longer?
